Harmonie

An interactive musical piece that is solely composed from samples of traditional music coming from all over the world. Kongo contributes percussion, Iran the vocals, Spain the bassline and so on. Each waveform represents the audio track of the individual country. By tapping the corresponding channels the tracks can be played in solo, so its origin becomes easier to identify.

The work is part of the exhibition "Bilder im Kopf" initiated by design students of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam, Germany which addresses cultural stereotypes and how to overcome them.
